Want to see the life cycle of many websites?

Anyone who’s more than a user of a website knows that a site evolves.

In fact, every site has an entire life cycle (if in miniature). Many have cycles within cycles, through redesigns and domain changes and tweaks and changes.

We’ve seen a few sites rise and fall and rise again through a number of life cycles. And we’ve come to embrace the unique challenges faced by the people who run those sites.

It’s with the greatest reverence for those courageous souls, and appreciation for and participation in their efforts to keep their sites ever on the rise, that we offer this unique infographic.

Webloop.com is the Everyman of websites. It’s a bit of a farce of the life cycle of sites, but we think you’ll find that some common challenges that sites face will shine right through.

Check it out. If you feel for it, print it out (Infographic: The life cycle of a website – Pdf: 1.5MB), and put it wherever you like. And let us know how you feel about webloop.com. Misunderstood hero? Or simple klutz 2.0? We’d love to know….
